OUGD503 - Studio Brief 02 - Time Management

In order to make the most of the coming weeks until the submission deadline, we decided to produce a rough plan of where we want to be aiming in terms of the production of the book on each day. Despite the character design stage being set back a bit, at this point we seem to be on track in so much as I am starting to produce background scenery and developments for the book and my collaborative partner is developing the final characters who will be interacting within these backgrounds. Once these are finalised and brought together, then we will start working on text development together which the brief states needs to be in black and as a transparent overlay rather than on the artwork itself. This will also help us manipulate the type in a playful way which interacts with the illustrations, and allows us to make changes if needed to fit around the pages.
