OUGD505 - Studio Brief 01 - Initial Ideas

• Use the aspects of the Unicode Standard to produce an image through a similar process to that of ASCII art - links to the idea of coding - use halfwidth and fullwidth forms rather than the typical ASCII coding standard.
• Produce a set of postage stamps - use the Greco-Roman head as the figure - potentially produce a set of postcards or something to pair with these.
• Produce a statue or sculpture of the Greco-Roman head - style in a way which reflects the aesthetics of vaporwave.
• Create a video or animation - use imagery typical to that of vaporwave, for example, the Greco-Roman statue, late 1990s imagery, glitch art, 3D-rendered objects, etc. - think about what could potentially be communicated through video format?
• Air freshener packaging - design packaging for the aerosol can - could also potentially try to produce the 'scent' of vaporwave - how would this link to the genre of music?
