OUGD603 - Degree Show Branding - Concept Feedback (14/02)

• Upon feedback from tutors it was considered that our concept was too similar to previous degree show branding from 2015's 'Made Here' concept. Whilst we initially thought the visual style of the concept was fairly similar to this, through developments we attempted to steer away from these similarities, however it was soon found that the concept was also similar and this proved some problems in 2015. The concept is all about diversity and representation, however in 2015 this concept apparently caused some controversy in that courses were each assigned a specific shape and colour which some courses did not like. 
• For this reason, it has been decided to keep focusing on our initial concept of diversity and representation, however we will take a different approach to visualising this which will avoid assigning specific visuals to each course.
