Reflecting on initial digital developments of the general poster designs which explored how all the different colours and shapes could come together to represent the university/its diversity and community as a whole, it was thought that this could be a bit more structured in its design. In developing on this, one further idea was then to utilise four of the shapes, with a different one coming from each corner of the poster as if gravitating towards the centre and represent the idea of a diverse range of courses and people all coming together as creatives and as a community.
Although the concept worked it was also thought that perhaps this development meant the design became a bit too chaotic with too many visuals being used at once which could confuse the design. Therefore another variation was developed taking a similar route in showing a different shape gravitating from the corners into the centre of the poster, however limiting the amount of each shape used to just one in an attempt to make this look more structured and less chaotic which was the initial intention.
