- Concept based on diversity and representation.
- Use the mosaic pieces in lines, different shapes and colours to represent diversity in the university. Use one colour to represent course, then use altogether to represent the university as a whole.
- Photographic imagery (black and white) placed underneath that represents each course, e.g. studio areas and workshops. Experiment with abstracting these through a focus on textures, etc.
- Lower the opacity of the mosaic shapes so that the image is reflected through.
- Does it need a tagline to better communicate our idea? Based on diversity.
Colours:
It was thought that in order to start experimenting with the acrylic mosaic pieces that each course should initially be paired with a colour from the pack that would potentially best represent the course and work effectively with the images we gather.
- Graphic Design - Red.
- Fashion - Brown.
- Illustration - Yellow.
- Visual Communication - Orange.
- Creative Advertising - Green.
- Printed Textiles - Purple.
- Photography/Fashion Photography - Clear.
- Animation - Pink.
- Fine Art - Blue.
