OUGD406 - Studio Brief 03 - Exhibition Catalogue

The exhibition catalogue was produced in a similar way to that of the wayfinding systems. It was decided to separate the prints into five different categories: history, culture, politics, society and miscellaneous, which would be used in the curation of the exhibition. These would also be used within the exhibition catalogue to categorise the prints and give the general public extra information on each individual print.

Similar to the wayfinding system and invitations, these would be produced in the format of a receipt, with a long strip of information for each category which can be ripped off at the relevant sections. The catalogue would be produced in black and white, ensuring cost-effectiveness and links to the typical aesthetics of receipts, whilst also ensuring the general public engage with the exhibition whereby they have to look for the relevant prints to view the full colour versions.
